When I was BORED...!! :P

Today is big damn bored day... no task @ office...
When i was busy with office stuff i wished all the time... "oh please I need a Break..." But now it's totally other way round... Today I have nothing to do except testing.. So I started to surf the Internet... First E bay.. then sinhala Bloggers.. then net games.. ;).. ah twitter as well... nothing impressed me much.. :O then I started to read a book.. actually it's a PDF.. Think U guys already know about this book.. It's Head First SQL... when i saw the name of the e book.. First I felt uhhh... another technical book... :(
But when i started to read it.. the whole impression was changed.. the writing style is pretty interesting.. It's really simple and it used so many funny stuff to explain the theory parts...
Still I'm reading it... why don't u guys try that out?? It's damn interesting...
"OReilly Head First SQL".. This is the name of the Book.. Enjoy Guys :)

The "Head First" series books are interesting to read. I read (actually halfway ;-)) one on "Design Patterns". Although I didn't know any before reading, I got a rough idea after I read.

Keep reading sis :-)

You read SQL books when you are bored!?

My reaction would be "Ughh,.. another SQL book". But I bet that book is interesting. The Head First series has a unique style of expressing things. In the recent years, they've added more titles to the original series.

True, a SQL book is better than reading Perl code. ;) But I'm not sure, if even HF can make me that enthusiastic about SQL.

Photography..!!!

Sir John Herschel,he was the one who first used the term in 1839.That is the year the photographic process became public."PHOTOGRAPHY" is derived from the Greek words for light("phos") and writing/paint brush ("graphis"). There are two distinct scientific processes that combine to make photography possible. The first of these processes was optical. The second process was chemical. Photography is so useful for human beings....Scientists have used photography to record and study.Security forces use photography for recognition and data storage. Specially Photography is used to preserve memories of favorites and as a source of entertainment. finally i want to mention this as well... U cannot be a photographer as soon as u get a camera...u need a creative eye to capture the view through the camera... mhhh.... i don't know whether i have that creativeness or not coz still i don't have a camera..... :( Like to be a Photographer...!!! Have a nice day.. frie...

Sri Lankan Government Vs Indian Government..!!

Yesterday I received two News Alert SMSs to ma mobile phone. It says that Indian Home minister and National Security adviser have resigned after the Mumbai attack. This thing is not familiar with Sri Lankan politics. How lucky Indian people to have politicians like this..!If this Mumbai incident happen in Sri Lanka then ... then what?? nothing gonna happen except death of innocent civilians. If this happen in Sri Lanka .. it will be just an incident, that's all and nothing more than that. Now the war is doing well in Sri Lanka.Yeah that's true that Sri Lankan Soldiers sacrificing their lives to destroy the terrorism. But most of the politicians can't understand the value of this.. Actually they can understand it but they don't like to understand it.. because the understanding of the reality is disadvantage for their persistence.
